PullString’s Kevin Dusablon talks about how he envisions the company's products being combined with AR and VR. He wants to see game characters talking back to players on all platforms, and thinks this would be especially useful in VR gaming. By talking to characters, you are connecting to the IP in a new way.
As part of our ongoing Mindshare series of events, Pyramind hosted an evening of groundbreaking technology demonstrations and discussions from the front lines of audio innovation for virtual and augmented reality, robotics and artificial intelligence.
The evening began with a hosted cocktail hour for networking and product demos where attendees were among the first to play beta Virtual Reality games using the SubPac Tactile Bass System, Vive and Oculus VR gear and check out the Anki Overdrive in action.
The panel discussion that followed was moderated by Pyramind's Greg Gordon and included Anki Audio Director Brian Min and Audio Coordinator Ashley Coull, Pullstring audio team members Kevin Dusablon and Mike Forst along with Subpac's Sean Leonard and Ryan Origin (Gaming/VR) joining us for the panel discussion.
